Bach Early Elkhart 72*, excellent condition

Manufactured in 1968 (43xxx), just a few years after the move from Mt. Vernon, this is a stunning example of Bach's early Elkhart workmanship, wonderfully maintained. The lacquer was redone in a scratch finish except for the valve slides which remain glossy. The valves are like butter; I had them lapped w/ new felts and springs and the action is terrific. The leadpipe is nearly pristine and the sound, which is why we're all here, is gorgeous and variable. Intonation is spot on,...

Looking to sell my silver Schilke B7. Horn is absolutely pristine, actually, it has never left my house since it was shipped here. It is as new as you could ever find one, and there are zero modifications from factory spec. No dings, dents or scratches. Played 3 or 4 times for a total of about an hour. No issues, no dissappointments. Great horn, just not something that is best suited for me at this time. There is no case or mouthpiece with the horn. It is not advertised elsewhere....

It is with regret that I do this, but I need to sell my Scodwell flugel. I had to have surgery on my shoulder, and even though we have health insurance, the co-pays/deductibles are adding up. The horn hardly gets used these days, so it needs to go. I would like to get 2 grand for it, which is way under what a new one costs. Excellent shape; no dings, dents, or scratches.

First of all ... Thanks for all of your great comments about T2 Special valve oil made on the other thread.
I would like to address some of the issues that came up on the other thread in the general forum concerning T2 Special Valve Oil. I feel that it is more appropriate to do that here in the classified section than on the general forum.
La Tromba T2 Special is not my valve oil (I wish it was). So, I don't make it in my garage or any thing like that! It is made in a factory...
