All this clip proves is that people are generally gullible, and are easily tricked and subject to manipulation with the right approach. The whole premise is flawed because it assumes everyone that goes to an environmental event is a chemistry major.

You may want to check out a book called "Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion" written by a social psychologist named Rpbert Cialdini. It's a fascinating exploration based on solid scientific evidence about the tendencies and principles of human behavior in a social context.
