on Inauguration Day in 2001, we barely had a functioning government.

Hell, we barely have one now. Well, what about my point in the last post? Why is it OK and wonderful to spend billions so a foreign nation can enjoy "freedom and democracy" but it's not OK and wonderful to spend taxpayer money providing affordable health care to the taxpayer? Show me why I'm so irrational. We can help foreigners enjoy the benefits of freedom but we can't help our own people have health care. Why don't Republicans show the same "tough love" to Iraqis they recommend for everyone else and tell them to just "fend for themselves," be independent and self-sufficient. If it's good for us it should be good for them, right? No free handouts.

The elephant craps again!
