Thanks for the replies! My thoughts are pretty much in line with what you all are saying other than the being young part, which I figured would cause a stir. I feel that every situation is different and it is hard to give advice since you do not know me or my girlfriend, as it is wrong for me to take your comments out of context since I do not fully know you on a personal level. However, at the same time it is a blessing to have a forum like this where intelligent people can express their opinions freely without worrying about hurting anybody's feelings, because there seems to be a consensus of not giving a crap. Which can be good!

It's just hard to juggle two things that I would regret not doing later in life: marrying a truly amazing person and getting an education. As long as one of us doesn't die in the next two years, we will still be together and get married at a later date. If I don't go to grad school now, I don't think I ever will.
