Now that's funny.
I dont see whats so funny about it. The guy asked a question about why some people are better sight readers than others and I gave a perfectly logical answer thats based on the observance of hundreds of people, students and others alike. There is also a scientific basis to it, based on the fact that different parts of the brain are responsible for different skills and everyone's brain is different. Different people have different areas of the brain developed in different proportions. That's why some people are great painters, while others can draw nothing more than stick figures. Same goes for tonality. I know this is a bitter pill to swallow for people with bad ears because sight reading can be developed by virtually everyone. Ears/tonal senses can only be developed a very little bit, but for the most part, either you've got it or you don't. Looks like I struck a nerve.

To be a professional musician, you MUST be both a good reader AND have good ears.
I never said anything to even suggest the contrary.
