My pleasure Bman. I am tend to over analize things anyway but at least in this case, it has a benefit right? I am happy for you. It's always great to over come a plaetue. I feel like running in the streets when I finally conquer mine. I wish I had more advice to give you but I remember you mentioning something about you using a superchops embouchure which I
will honestly say I know nothing about. I hope my little insight into the role of my left hand was of some use. As for the A, well I don't know how to explain it other than that note rings differently in my mouth, if that makes sense... wait... that didn't sound right lol.
Michfan,
Is that the book written by the asymetric MP guy? If it is, that MP and aproach is designed for type IV upstreamers. I believe he talks about placing the MP lower on the chops in his website. I wish I remembered exactly what he said. Maybe Nick Drozdoff can chime in about that because I think he either uses one or used one of those MPs at one point.
