Thanks Hollywood for starting this thread and for your perfect thoughts.

Ed always knows how to say it because he is one of us, a fan always first, thanks Ed, God bless man.

I always start out this anniversary of the bosses passing feeling a bit down and sad. I really miss him as we all do. I guess this will always be the way the day starts out or how I handle it.

Then in the afternoon I played all my favorite stuff from the Roulette years, then Ernie Garside's "World of MF" DVD, and played the lost tapes CD1 and 2.

I just remembered and smiled. Man "blessed" is putting it lightly, I sure feel it!

I just wanted to say thanks and I also have so much gratitude to Matt for starting this forum and everyone on here that makes it such a nice place to hang and share memories and stories. I love checking in where ever I'am and when I can find time.

It's has been a blessing to log onto some place like our forum here and read and share the bosses spirit. It sure keeps me going and playing as well.

I know our forum here has made the bosses passing and my personal feelings towards this date, along with the healing factor a bit easier to deal with.

Funny thing is so far every year on the anniversary I never have a call to gig or the schedule seems to work out that way. I guess it's sort of a nice way to just reflect and listen to the boss on recording, I always love to call up some fellow MF fanatics and shoot the bull about all those great times he would just light up the end of a high note and close the show, with our jaws still hitting the floor in amazement!

God Bless Maynard.

His memory still lives on in all of us, the blessed ones for sure
