Thanks for the replies. And I'm not just bustin' balls here, just thought it would be interesting to see how often WE, as musicians, pay to see live music. And sometimes I also get comps for shows, but mostly larger events and not clubs. I make it a point to always pay at a club even if I can get in for nothing. I just think it's a tough business (restaurants/clubs) so they need all the support they can get. Ed used to hook me up for Maynard via my friendship with Stan Mark, but I always made a point to throw a 20 spot to the band director. Not bragging, just saying that it was cool to get on the guest list and all but I understood that most of those gigs were fundraisers for the bands.......

We need someone who can read lead sheets with chords as well as be able to sight read notes in either treble or bass clef. Must be available for up to a couple Wednesday rehearsals from 11am to 1 pm before each Friday night's gig (7:30-8:30) at a retirement comuunity in Sacramento. Pay is $28.
