I heard Jimmy Pankow was recovering from a surgery of some kind and had to take some days off to recover.
As for Lee Longhane, I understand his wife is very ill.
These are just things I heard from the die hard fans in the audience, so I don't mean to present any mis-information that is personal in nature for these guy's.
The sax/flute player (sorry his name escapes me now) was one of the original cats.
Also Robert Lamb, and Bill Champlain were there along with all the others.
Didn't mean to imply that none of the originals were there.
I'm not to familiar with their stuff, but believe me when I tell you they have quite a huge following. They were sold out that night and I understand they sell out everywhere they play and the tickets are hard to get at times! Everyone knows the tunes and the vocals! If Lamb or one of those guy's were to be out, I think the die hard fans of Chicago would notice more.
