Okay... I'm busted... I'm a very physically active guy, so in order to get as fat as I got, I overate... a lot... The omelet used to be 7 or 8 eggs, accompanied by 3 or 4 biscuits with butter & jelly... and a couple of mexican beers... and it would be at 10pm... Not what most would call a healthy habit to have.

Now, I still indulge myself a large omelet a few times a week, but side it with fruit instead of a biscuit, and use it for my early afternoon meal.

I am sufficiently active that I get to eat quite a bit and drop weight. Here's today's full menu:

6:30am -- 2 Servings Oatmeal, 1 Cup Milk, Coffee
9:30am -- Handful Red Grapes, 1/2 an orange, Coffee
10:15am -- Spicy Greek Salad (1 head lettuce, 1 cup pepperoncini, 1/4c diced pickled habaneros, 1/4 cup feta cheese, rosemary, olive oil), Coffee
12:45pm -- Omelet (5 eggs, 5 oz. Ham, jalapenos, mushrooms, onions, 1/4c sour cream, 1/4 cup habanero salsa), Apple, Ice Tea
4:00pm -- 2 Bananas, 2oz Swiss Cheese, Coffee
6:15pm -- Oven Roasted Chicken Breast (on bone, full quarter), Black-eye peas, Rice, Raw Carrots, Sliced Tomato, Ice Tea
8:30pm -- Popcorn or Almonds, Double Bourbon Neat

I have eaten similarly every day the last 7 weeks and dropped weight steadily. Once or twice a week I end up having a bigger evening meal or having it a little later -- normally due to getting together with friends or family. When that happens I normally know it is coming and just prune back everything else a little bit throughout the day. If I get hungry between these feedings, any raw fruit or vegetable in whatever quantity I want is allowed.
