Hey Brassman, did you see the 60 Minutes piece about eating less and living in a constant state of being hungry? Apparently it's good for you. At the University of Wisconsin, researchers have been feeding Reese's monkeys (or is it rhesus?) for years, feeding each group different diets and caloric intake. The well-fed monkeys are dying off faster than the under-fed monkeys. Ditto for the mice.

There's also a group of people called the Caloric Restricted Society or something like that, who intentionally eat less than enough to make them feel full.
