DAVE -- It also helps to regularly remind yourself of how much better things are now, and will be, than they were before: happier, better sleep, saving money, getting more things done, etc. Great point. Losing weight isn't about just being lighter -- it's about choosing a lifestyle that is better for you all the way around -- physically, fiscally, emotionally, etc...

My UPDATE--- Holding steady at 199 pounds. I did celebrate my sub-200 pound status more than perhaps I should, so despite heavy physical activity, my progress toward my goal has temporarily halted. No matter -- I've lost 42 pounds and feel great about it. I'm going to lose 5 more and reassess how I look and feel.

Oh... and by the way... you will all have to tolerate a shirtless pic of me when I get below 195 pounds -- it's part of my whole emotional "This is me now" thing...
