Well, when we went to the license branch to get new registrations this summer, we were told we had to use our old address since the p.o. hadn't acknowledged the new E911 address given by the County Commissioners in May of 2008. Well, we didn't wish to run on expired plates, so we got the new ones.

Two weeks later, we got the official letter from the post office regarding our new E911 address. I called the License Branch, and they said we had to go back in.

We had to get replacement Driver's Licenses at 10.00 each to have the current legal address on them, even though our current ones had a few years to go, since we renewed them last year. Then,we were told the new registrations were no longer valid with the wrong home address, and this would cost an additional 8.00 for each vehicle. I tried to remain a gentleman, and they finally removed the plate fees, as we had just been there two weeks earlier, and the p.o. letter delay wasn't our fault.
