It's great to see the continued success and encouragement here. To those who continue to work on their weight, THANK YOU for showing it can be done. For those who keep encouraging us, THANK YOU for your support.

On August 1st I was 378 (or 388 per my doctor's scale). I'm went with the 378 number as the nutritionist has a better scale and it was more in tune with other scales I had used. I lost 8lbs the first month, 12lbs the second, and 4 pounds in October up to last Tuesday the 24th. I went to the nutritionist's office today after only a week and two days as she wants to teach me more and help me stay on track. I saw her at her other office as she takes later appointments there. Anyway, I weighed myself at this other office. Since I only lost 4 pounds in the prior 20-something days I wasn't expecting much for 10 days. I was surprised as my weight is now........

9 lbs less than a week and two days ago!!!!

I couldn't believe it so we weighed me on three other scales and they all came up with the same weight give-or-take-a-pound. I kept telling her I didn't believe I lost that much weight in the short time, so when it was time to leave she called the office I had been going to and asked them if I could go there to check my weight on that scale. So I drove a couple miles up the road and weighed myself there. Damned if it wasn't within two pounds of what the other office had.

Since I started dieting I have lost a total of 33lbs; from 378 to 345. I still have a long way to go but as I lose weight and read this thread I get stronger and more determined to continue; and do better.

Thanks again for everything everyone does here, and keep it up!!!
