Hey man, thank you so much for posting that! The quality of the recording was so clear that it was almost like sitting in the audience again. I could just feel that anticipation of hearing the walk-on, waiting for our hero to stroll out on stage, big grin on his face, getting ready to unleash *that sound*! As much as I heard him live over the years, I was always totally floored when those first few notes would come flying out of that bell! And that was just the start of the show!

I was tickled to hear the audience just sort of get more and more into the concert - just becoming increasingly more .. *captured* .. until, during The Medley and Rocky, people would just literally go nuts after every phrase MF played. Man, Boss sure had a way of connecting with an audience. Such passion and excitement!!

I caught BBN at around the same time (c. 1990?) as the recording, and was really knocked out at just how much Maynard was playing. Lots of extended soloing throughout the show, and then winding things up with But Beautiful, the Medley, and then Rocky?? To this day I never cease to be amazed at this man's trumpet playing. I caught him around 25 times from the 70's until his passing; I've never heard a trumpet sound like Maynard's in my life and I never will. I'm amazed at how much I still miss him!

Anyway, thank you for being so generous as to make this available for us.

John
