My Recent Posts
So, the 60th Anniversary Big Band Tour spawned the large version of BBN. The European tours that took place around and after this time yielded Live in London and Footpath Cafe, but also around this time there existed the smaller version of BBN (featured on this bootleg at Scoot High School) that featured a two trumpet configuration. When exactly did BBN move to a three trumpet configuration on a consistent basis? Was it about the time that These Cats Can Swing was recorded? Perhaps Joey Tartell or Carl Fischer could chime in on this.
