I just was chewed out royally by my Dr. for grousing about an 8 lb loss in one month. He said "2 lbs a week is healthy."

The thing is - if I had gastric bypass - no one would blink if I said I lost 5 lbs a week. I am careful - I take vitamins, etc - so I guess I'm not sure why, when I'm a building, I can't easily take off more weight right now.

About those deck of card portions. Before I went on a diet - my cheese and bacon toppings for my burgers were deck of card sized - L x W x H.
