Try a couple of things:

1) do some breathing and relaxation exercises where you relax, close your eyes and picture a favorite spot to be, or even listen to some soothing music

2) divert your attention. Instead of "worrying about worrying," just pick something else and think about it. Kind of like when a young child
sees some candy at the check-out stand. Instead of arguing about it, just call the child's attention to something else nearby. We can only
concentrate on one thing at a time.
