Hey Doc how would feel about someone walking into your Doctors office and helping themselves to all your office furniture, exam tables, EKG machines, scales, centrifuges, thermometers, etc ?   After all, health care, like recorded music, should be free for everyone, right?

Sounds Goodman, don't be so sure about that.   Just because thieves have had their way for some time now, don't be fooled that copyright owners and their lawyers won't eventually find ways to effectively fight back against the theft of digital property.   When the movie, publishing, and what's left of the record business join forces the save themselves against annihilation things may change.

Listen, if everything in life was free, if everyone freely shared what they owned, I would be the first one to say music should also be free.   However, when I go to the grocery store they still ask me for money when I want to buy food.   Plumbers, carpenters, auto mechanics, electricians, garbage collectors, real estate agents, policemen, architects--isn't it funny how they all still want to be paid for what they do?
