DAVE:  Taking his statement of being 196 on June 24th at face value,  I'm sayin' he gains 4 pounds and retakes the big 2 double-0 mark, and cholestorol is up 7 by arrival back home.

Great.  Dave is trying to profit from my excesses.    Yes, I broke the big 200.... gained 7 pounds in about 10 days... weighed 203 last night, July 5th.  I grilled something at least once, more often twice, a day the entire time.  Burgers, dogs, steaks, pork chops (this is reading like fat-guy porn!), brats, barbeque chicken... mmm....  but also grilled zuchinni, squash, eggplant, etc... not a lot of sweets, but definitely a lot of fats.  Now, I blame driving through In-N-Out Burger the day before the weigh in for a lot of it -- sodium -- dude... I'm retaining water like the Hoover Dam.  I beleive a lot of that will drop back off quickly -- much of my excesses were toward the end of the trip... so are still "in process" if you know what I mean.

Give It / Doc:  195, 119, 30, 140 respectively -- Weighing in at 201 today...  Those aren't too bad.  If you saw my earlier posts, despite my roughly 70 pounds lost my cholesterol stayed north of 240 -- so Lipitor is in my future.  I don't remember the rest of my numbers.  I'll let you know when I get blood work in July.

Give It:  I have this dream of replacing my pants  in October when the 40 waist jeans It's an awesome feeling, man.  I'm right at 6 feet tall, and thickly built, so I had 40 pants when I weighed 265.  At 200 pounds I'm between a 34 and a 36 -- depending on brand/cut.  I've decided to go down to comfy in 34's, almost to a 32, which for me should be about 180-185 pounds.  I recently donated three suits to the University of Oklahoma -- they've got a 'suits to grads' program, so kids with less cash can have a nice suit for job interviews.  Some portly grads will now benefit from my 54 jackets / 38-40 pants suits.  I plan to start replacing much of my wardrobe this fall -- starting with a 44-46 athletic cut suit jacket and 34 pants.

Glad to help any way I can, any time I can.  Some great guys on here have helped inspire me -- and I'm delighted to help others the same way if I'm able.

MOTHER:  oatmeal for my health has to be better than the two morning donuts ritual  Me too, brother.  I was a big breakfast guy -- 3 to 6 eggs, meats, biscuits and gravy... every day for my first 37 years of life.  In the last 2 years, it's oatmeal and a piece of fruit 6 days a week.  I let myself have a little something more fun on Sunday mornings most of the time, but sometimes I even oatmeal then, too.  Good first step.

MONGO:  In honor of nearly 200 lbs off - I started my "Couch to 5K" running program...Imagine a pregnant Wiildebeest trying to run through the Nile River with a crocodile snapping at her head...That's what I look like "running".   Oh well - it's all part of the lifestyle change...  Mongo -- dude -- great next step.  I only resembled a partially crippled orangutang carrying a watermelon whilst being chased by a rabid hyena... but I did a 5K just this past May 30th -- -- the time doesn't matter (though I 'll share if you would find it inspirational... or comical...)... mine was to celebrate my 70+ pounds... run / walk / waddle / crawl... I finished and some "fit" people didn't.  You're already a winner -- do the 5K -- it's awesome.
