I do have baggage to get rid of. My weight (before starting) was about 210lbs.

I'd like to get down to 175 or 180.

I'm not sure what South Beach is, but I just try to eat as few carbs as possible.

Today I had bacon and a four-egg omelette with cheese for breakfast; a pastrami sandwich (minus bread) with mustard for lunch; and a big mess of sashimi for dinner.

The only carbs in all of that are 4g for the eggs and a couple for the cheese.

Nothing to drink but water and a diet soda or two during the day. Fried pork rinds (zero carbs) as a snack.

This is the regime that works for me. I've tried to do diets that reduce calories, but I go crazy when I'm hungry. With this, I remain full but lose weight.

The craving for sugar goes away after a few days.
