Just finished watching the DVD. I think Ed Sargent and Dan Potts did a great job capturing the spirit and personality of Maynard Ferguson. It gives the real feel of watching home movies. There are bad camera angles and blurry pictures on many occasions. However, anyone who was influeced by Maynard's music and was excited to go to his concerts anytime he was in the area will enjoy the DVD. It brings back many good memories. It's so nice to see somebody who enjoyed his profession, his musicians, and his audience.
