The meetings at work are horrendous temptations. I've been fending off the barrage of food at work prior to and after the holidays, and i'm holding my own..

Folks who try to force food on you really aren't the friends who care about your health.

Routinely, it's mainly oatmeal for breakfast, salads with lean meat for lunch. very little bread all week, and a nutritious supper. Again, one reward meal a week. 

Health checks for me would be my big mistake. I avoid the doctor, and I know I need more check-ups. I did have a physical last spring with all the lab work.
