Welcome to the world of those of us who make our livings in other areas. Luckily for all of us, it still takes humans to program these things.

I'm not just trying to be a smart ass. I've worked for the last 15 years in telecom, and one of my main jobs is to find ways for customers to fix their own problems -- rather than having a person deal with them -- with the aid of robotic IVR (interactive voice response) systems and a myriad of other things to put myself and my co-workers out of jobs. It sucks. But if someone can suggest how to stop it, I'm all ears.  I'll bet that there are a lot of people on here who have been happy to deal with computerized solutions for various problems -- technology, banking, or any form of "online billing/self help" rather than having to deal with a person. This is now reality.
