Roger, buddy, you know that the chances of winning the mega million lottery jackpot were 1 in 176 million, don't you?

That's like saying that raising taxes on the rich will fix our government spending problem.

That's like saying that $5 gasoline will fix our dependency on foreign oil.

That's like saying that liberal Democrats (is that an oxymoron?) will quit beating up on conservative woman who raise kids AND have a job.

Still, as a child of parents who worked their fingers to the bone to achieve the American Dream, I too would like to be rich and win the lottery!  (Is that wrong?)

Did I mention that the chances were 1 in 176 million?  That's like standing outside in thunderstorms, trying to get struck, for your entire life expectancy of 77 years (in the USA - less, elsewhere).
