Yeah, Brass Roots, man --- That extended High G at the end of the title track STILL destroys me every time I hear it even to this day --------

Pre- Zebron I believe,Open the Gates of Love is another one on there If I'm remembering the right track that displayed his technique.Personally I liked all the early Command stuff, I first got hooked on Doc with "The Great Arrival".I posted before that this was a great period late Sixties early Seventies to see him live.I'd gladly listen to anything he's done but I think the Command stuff was actually my favorite era.Used to love the commercials on the Tonight Show where they came back from break and the band was finishing a song. They had this one show they had a camera high above him and he was very on that night.I must have been 12 or 13 but still remember it very well.I googled ebay on this album and got this http://cgi.ebay.com.my/Doc-Severinsen-Night-journey_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ190223849827-that European Cover is not the same cover that was in the States for sure
