A lot of people on here have given me lots of good advice about playing. Some of you know about my embouchure change a year ago and my struggle to regain range. A high B has been my top comfortable note for a few months now, with occasional good days where I could play up to a d, but I could only play it loudly. I've been working a little extra on range and lip slurs for the past 2 or 3 weeks, after I found out that I was getting switched to 2nd part for drum corps and I would need to play some high c's and c sharps. I've been doing lots of ppp practice and yesterday and now today I managed to do the Colin Lip Slurs up to high e, consistently. It was really soft and I have a long way to go, but encouraging nonetheless. I'm hoping to have a playable e by May and I finally feel like I'm making progress. Thank you to everyone that has given advice. I think practicing lip slurs softly is really going to help me out in the next few weeks.
