I've been a happy Honda owner for over 2 decades. However, my 2001 Civic (current car) is not a testimony to Honda's reputation of quality and reliability. I've been checking out Certified Pre-Owned Accords (2010 and 2011). However, feedback on Kelly Blue Book and other sites is spotty at best on these Accords....terrible oil consumption, bad lumbar support in seats, steering wheel shimmy, etc.
So...I am considering alternatives to Honda (gasp, say it isn't so). The last non-Honda I had was a Saturn, and it was gone in 11 months (didn't like it). I won't buy a Toyota, because our first minivan, a 2000 Sienna, was a piece of (fill in the blank), and based on that, I will never, ever buy a Toyota again.
So-in your experience, what's a reliable, high-quality alternative to the Accord (4-door sedan variety)? Ford Fusion? Other?
Thanks for any feedback!
